The research consortium dedicated to vocational rehabilitation focuses on workforce readiness, employer practices and transition services for young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

With more than $13 million in funding from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living and Rehabilitation Research (NIDILRR), we have led three national Rehabilitation and Research Training Centers on the employment of individuals with disabilities.

Future goals include building partnerships among academia, industries and the Department of Defense on employing individuals with disabilities.

Paul Wehman, Ph.D., has been awarded $8.8 million from the National Institute on Disability, Independent Living, and Rehabilitation Research to coordinate studies across four universities focusing on how to best provide training and employment for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
