Our three-year, fully accredited PM&R residency program accepts six residents annually (through NRMP) and stresses comprehensive medical rehabilitation for individuals with traumatic brain injury, stroke, musculoskeletal injury, spinal cord injury, pediatric disorders, orthopedic and multitrauma injuries, along with specialty outpatient clinics for pain management, musculoskeletal, sports medicine, electrodiagnosis and orthotics/prosthetics. Upon completion of our fully accredited PM&R residency, VCU graduates demonstrate the knowledge and skills to be highly competent physiatrists and leaders in the field of PM&R.
